This is a Moodle 1.9 enrollment/payment issue. After upgrading from v 1.8 to 1.9, everything seemed to work properly until students needed to enroll in new courses for the upcoming semester. We use Authorize.net for the default payment gateway and it is processing payments correctly and students are receiving payment receipts.
However, when a student registers for a course and completes payment, rather than being taken to the course classroom as in 1.8, the student is taken to the main Moodle login page and is logged out. While the student can login again, if he/she selects the course just registered for, instead of allowing the student into the classrooom it takes the student to the payment gateway again as if the course was not paid for. The student cannot enter the course classroom. The student is listed as a course participant (seen by an Admin) but cannot enter the course, nor is the course listed in their profile.
Is this a known bug? If so, is there a fix?
