this my first public release of anything for moodle so maybe a 'guru' should check this out :
this 'filter' is my moodle implimentation of a free service from:
what this filter does is show a small thumbnail image of the webpage next to every link, that is if the webpage is registered at DMOZ. If there is no thumbnail image available it should not 'hurt' anything and you should not see any errors or broken images.
to install : all i did was put this one directory 'openthumbs' containing one file 'filter.php' in side the 'filter' directory, and then the openthumbs filter should up as an option in admin!
so far it works fine for me but please let me know what if any problems occur.
