Does anyone know if in 1.9 it is possible to create outcomes which can be shared across a course category?

It is possible to create site-wide outcomes, that can be shared across all the courses on a given Moodle site. The administrator can create them.
The outcomes created by the teacher in a given course are available only for that course (unless you export them and import them to another).

Thanks for that. Do you know if it is possible to limit the site-wide outcomes to a particular course category? We would like to create Learning Outcomes specific to a department (i.e. category)
I've tried the import / export of outcomes between courses and get an error:
"An error occurred, this script wasn't called with the right parameters".

As to your first question, I don't know...
Regarding the import / export features, I tried them and had no problems... I'm using the 1.9 Moodle, released on April 16th.
No, this is not possible. Currently there are no grading or outcome features for course categories, only site-wide or course-wide features.
