Hi there!!

I'm new moodler and i'm having a problem with setting moodle networking

Using Win2k3 Web Edition, IIS6, PHP 5.2.3, MYSQL 5.0.41
OpenSSL, Curl, XML-RPC extensions are installed

I have set the environment variable OPENSSL_CONF to the path to the openssl.conf file.

I have tried all solutions that you have replied but the problem still remains

any help would be appreciated

I am having the exact same problem.  Looking through the forums however it looks as though this feature has not worked for alot of people.  It seems some issues are shared hosting related vs dedicated server.

Hi,
I've solved it creating this path
c:\usr\local\ssl
and copying the file openssl.cnf inside it

That's how I get openssl libraries to generate the public key, but I'd like to control it and know how to change the path...
