Ages ago Paulo found some issues with restoring quizzes with user attempt data. Then, even better, he came up with a patch that solved the problem - except there were a few problems with that which I found when I finally got around to reviewing the patch. Eventually, Paulo got time to make an updated patch, and I have just finished reviewing it again and it seems to be right. So now I have checked it in.
The bug affects random, truefalse and matching questions. If anyone is able to test backing up and restoring quizzes with user data with these question types, and can confirm it really works now, that would be great.
Anyway, thanks to Paulo, not least for his patience.
