Easy Way To Upgrade?

Easy Way To Upgrade?

Is there an easy way to upgrade (or just replace files) from version 1.2 to 1.3?  I have no clue how to install a program on my host and they won't upgrade their auto installation from 1.2

I just want to get the new features without killing myself with the configurations.

Suggestions?

Before upgrading backup your files...

Just overide or replace a newer version of moodle, make sure not to overide the config.php then login and go to admin menu.

That will upgrade your moodle with no pain at all.

I would highly recommend the provided documentation on upgrading:
It can be found by clicking here.

It mades all the steps for upgrading very clear. You really should backup your database. If you don't use Moodle's own database interface, I would recommend PHPmyAdmin.

Hi, Adam,

Thanks for posting. The link is broken for me, though.

It should be this, right? --> http://moodle.org/doc/?file=upgrade.html

Doh! Forgot the "http://" in my link. I do that way too frequently. blush It should be fixed now.

Thanks for catching it, Art!
