How to notify admin of new posts or replies

I'm fairly new to moodle, so I really would appreciate some help...

1) If a person is a "moderator" of a forum, does that forum automatically email them each time any post or reply is added to the forum they administrate? If not, how can I set it up so that this happens?

2) Is there a way to set up our site (of 150+ courses) to automatically email a single administrator for each post in any of the forums? This one person would be in charge of moderating all the forums on our site. Is there any way to easily do this without having to manually add this person as a teacher in each course and then set as moderator in each of the 150+ forums?
