I Love Moodle and I am trying it out on a summer mini session. A fellow Faculty member has a resource site for the subject with video tutorials. I am trying to add a link to it as a resource for students enrolled in the Moodle Course. They are tracking user activity, but I will need to pass a URL variable to their resource website which it totally separately operated and managed.
How can I send the User ID for a student in my sity to the external resources link? That is, if John Doe is enrolled in a course at my Moodle site and his user ID at my Moodle based course site is "127" how can I send this number in a URL resources link so that it would look like this...
http://www.external_resources_site/index.html?sKey=127
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
