My own clumsy but immediately practical solution, since the activities and resources don't appear on the Front Page but can be accessed from the Front Page Activities block:
1. Go into each Activity type via the Activities block
2. Grab the ID of each activity by mousing over the link (or clicking if you like it slow)
3. Replace the XXXX in this url with that ID (and where sesskey= your current sesskey http://open.uvu.edu/course/mod.php?delete=XXXX&sesskey=1234567890&sr=0
