I'm having a poke around the code before I start hacking a way to upload manual grade items in bulk and I noticed that when I add a single grade item it creates 4 records in the table 'grade_items_history', 3 of which are identical and the first of the four is only different as it has action=1 rather than 2.
Can anyone shed light on why this is happening and whether or not I can ignore the history table when I introduce new manual items?
