I've just become an admin for a moodle based site and as someone with no LAMP experience (which seems the prefferable way to setup moodle) I was lost as to how exactly moodle was gonna help me achieve the goals of my client.
I like to think I have what is know as strong "google-fu". So I've been able to tailor moodle to my client with a lot of exhaustive searches on the forums.
But what would be a REALLY handy document would be for tailoring moodle. That is, moodle suggestions for Schools, Uni's, Training Organisations and Businesses. Typical issues such as choosing between Categories>>Courses, MetaCourses>>Courses and Courses>>Groups; Ways of adding students to courses (every type of institution has different methods of enrollment); dealing with different levels of visibility and access; etc, etc.
IMHO that would be a really hany Doc/FAQ for new users and one I'd like to see added for future users. Anyone else agree?
