Hi,
I'm looking for a low cost or open source high education managment solution that includes registration, application and student billing. I'm a programmer so may be somthing I can start with and extend it over time is also an option. We have been using moodle for over 5 years, but we are still lacking a robust student record management capability.
Any suggestion will be appreciated

SchoolTool.org and miller-group.net fits schools more than colleges
fenix-ashes.ist.utl.pt got completely lost
sourceforge.net/projects/freesms/ Lately modified back in 2004
So, any suggestion for a package that fits more higher education in terms of online registration, add/drop classes and enforce pre-requisits per program
