What works fine is the voting engine. You need to enable votes and then add the "wiki page ranking" (or somethin like that) block on the wiki activity.
Sorry about the grades, it has been hard for me to come up with a simple and good design for the grading engine... thus the crap in nwiki for 1.8, but the version comming up in nwiki for 1.9 will be a good practice for all wiki engines for education.. I'm sure.
Thanks very much for the reply!
I am able to add the "Wiki Ranking" block. However, the wiki update vote does not "hold" the "Activate Wiki Votes" check box. That is, when I save changes the check goes away. I thought perhaps it was taking but not displaying properly in the update page. However, when I check the Wiki Ranking block, it still says "Activate Wiki Votes".
I made tests but I can't work it out.
is there something new since the above post you wrote one year ago ?
Any documentation available ?
the grading in nwiki 1.8 has lots of design and code flaws... meaning: it does not work propertly... Right now we are making a good grading engine that runs for 1.9 (still unreleased this feature) I discussed the deaign with MD and he likes it, and will be out there in a short time. (...)
