Hello all!
I work for a company that produces software for school ditricts. My job with this company has been to teach the various district staff, how to use our software. I have been primarliy using Captivate (1, 2, and now 3) and Camtasia to make these lessons, and distribute them via CD.
Until, I found Moodle!
Now I have an LMS setup, but am a little confused. I have tried to read various moodledocs and tips, and done forum searches, but I just can't seem to find the answer in the context I need.
I can enable SCORM reporting through captivate, right? Right.
So here's my ideal situation:
I have a course. We'll call it "Overview."
Inside this course are 5 lessons/activities.
Starting with the first one, - Well call it "login and homepage" - I would like the user to open that lesson and find a captivate .swf file playing. At the end of that demonstration, they have quiz questions (still within the same captivate file). If they score... I don't know.. 80%? correct on that quiz, the next lesson is open for them.
If anyone could point me in the direction of links, documents, how-tos that explain how to do this effectively and efficiently, I would greatly appreciate it. Anything more you can provide would also be invaluable. I am 22 years old, and this company is rather small. I am the only one who will be doing anything "eLearning" related. I am also new to this entire field, so please be gentle. Thanks so much!!
