- Moodle lacked a way to hide and show course material automatically based on date and time.
- You had to scroll alot.
- Gradebook, no weighting, no stats, no catagorization, etc.
- No short essay questions in quizzes.
These were gotchas for me at our Introduction to Moodle seminars (I knew what Moodle lacked, but I didn't know how important some things were to faculty).
We've been working on some new stuff to address these issues->
They liked the speed and flexibility, the html editor, and the number of assessable(?) where's the spellcheck?? activities, and all the pretty faces.
