unlimited attempts?

I have the quiz set to allow unlimited attempts, but when I go in as a student and test it, it only lets me take it once. What's the deal?

Please, I really need to find out why this is happening asap. Does any one know why this is happening or what I can do to fix it.

Sometimes it's easy to make a simple mistake in setting up a quiz, such as setting the date parameters incorrectly or even forgetting to save the quiz options after choosing them. Check all the quiz options and save them first.

Then, when you go in as teacher or administrator, is there a message that says the quiz is available or unavailable to your students.

Finally, if the quiz still closes after one attempt, what happens when you set the attempt option to THREE attempts, for example?

Hi Erlyn,

I feel like I checked and double checked and tried all kinds of combinations.

I did try setting it to 6 attempts instead of unlimited. that didn't work.

I tried something in the override roles for student and that didn't seem to make a difference.

I don't have a window of availability. I want it to be always available.

I'll try attaching a screen shot of my quiz settings. (It won't let me make the attachment.)
