Hi, Steve. Your post caught my attention because the U of Minnesota is my alma mater. I also happen to know that the U has a huge Moodle site, though I'm not sure if it has been formally adopted by all of the colleges. In any case, I had to laugh at the "usability labs" idea just because having lived in Minnesota most of my life, I can tell you that you can't be Minnesotan without having some strain of pragmatism running through you. I wouldn't be surprised if they have also done tests on their Moodle. I'd like to find out, though. Anecdotally, I'm a self-taught Moodler, so I think that Moodle might just "stand up" as a possibility. Do note D.I.'s distinction, though, as that is an important misconception about the two. I'll let you know if I find out about any "usability testing" from one of my U of MN friends. smile
