When I compose a new resource I want the default 'format' option to be Markdown - not 'Moodle auto-format'.
Can someone tell me how to do this?
Also, I'd love to know where the function that generates the drop-down 'format' box lives - I hunted through lots of files and failed to find it!
I tried changing the default value in the mdl_resource table for 'reference' but that didn't help.
(I'm happy editing php - am using Moodle 1.9)
