Enrolment

hello there,

I can't get database enrolment to work even without errors ... I've read the documentation and ran the scripts but nothing happens. I must be doing something wrong. I've mapped the moodle fields to my db fields and even set up an odbc source on the same machine but without success. Could someone once and for all provide a clear, specific examples that we need to do steps by step to make database enrollment work.

1. Mapping

2. setup of external database with fields, right permissions, etc.

3. running scripts from browser or command line? if from command line, what is the correct syntax?

has anyone tried using LDAP instead of database method and is it any easier or robust?
