I'm using Moodle 1.8.2 and I have a question about enrollments.
I'd like some students to be able to pay for a class through Paypal and enter the class without using a key, and I'd like to have some students join the class for free by using a key. Is that possible?

According to the Paypal enrolment documentation, it's possible to set an enrolment key for non-paying students, though I've not had chance to try it myself. Please let us know how you get on, and feel free to edit the documentation if required.

I just set up a dummy student account, paid for a "keyed" class via Paypal, and everything worked beautifully! I expected to be asked for the key at some point, but it took me right into the class without the key and without a hitch!
This is going to make my life so much easier.
