I found an interesting article in Campus Technology regarding using Moodle to build a collaborative syllabus. You can access the article here.
I'll be passing this on to our instructors, and thought a number of Moodlers would be interested in reading the article.
They did make a comment about how the survey module isn't up to their needs on this endeavor, so they used the quiz module instead - but to me it seems that the Questionnaire or Feedback modules, both third-party, would be able to handle this as well.
