Wiki

Hello,
We are using the default ewiki in my moodle-based course (Mooodle 1.8, PHP 5.1.6). I have set up two wikis in exclusive group mode with twelve groups, four students in each group.

In both wikis, one group's material has become corrupted in some way to prevent ANY access to their pages (the other 11 groups have no problems). It happened to the same group, and in fact was the same person editing when each wiki became corrupted (second one about 1 week later to the minute after the first).

In each wiki, I think the activities prior to crash went something like:

1. Student has uploaded several image files. At least one of the files has the same name as a previously loaded file, but the upload seems to succeed
2. Student inserts figure using html editor and pastes uploaded image url as instructed in various tutorials
3. Student resizes figure to better fit page
4. Student saves edited page and goodbye wiki

Student was using Firefox.

I have no idea about why this might be happening. Although banning this student from the site seems the easiest solution, I prefer something a little less harsh. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
