Hi all,

Wondered if anyone else had upgraded eWiki to nWiki on moodle 1.9v4?

The challege is this:

1 - we need easy file attachment/upload. This will be a primary use of the wiki

2 - This works well and is easy in eWiki BUT it's other features are very limited compared to nWiki (e.g. navigation, blocks etc)

3 - Another installation of nWiki I have (Moodle 1.6) the file attachment/upload doesn't work (???)

4 - Every time (3 times now) nWiki has been installed it's been chaos with issues on the rest of the site - admin panel gone, wiki trashed in an upgrade etc. - my confidence in nWiki is at a low ebb indeed.

5 - it's a one-way upgrade, nWiki replaces eWiki! So if we upgrade and file upload doesn't work it's going to be a mare removing nWiki to roll back...

6 - There's no way to compare ddue to said upgrade.

hence needing to ask if this feature works, unproblematically, in nWiki - and how attachments work as I've not seen this working...
