Hi

I don't know if I'm going to explain this right, but here goes.......

I created 2 web page resources in Moodle. Now I want to cross reference them on each others page as a link. Is this possible? And if so how do I go about doing it?

Aloha from Hawaii!

In your browser, browse to the first page. From the Address bar in your browser, Copy the address. Go to the second webpage and Edit. Click on Hyperlink button. Paste address in and select other info as well. Save the page. Go to the second page in your web browser...

Have a great evening! smile

Another alternative - take advantage of the Auto-linking filters. Make sure you type in (or copy) the exact name of the other page just as standard text. With auto-linking filters on the text will auto-magically become a link.

I prefer this method of linking between resources/activities because the link is preserved if you move or recreate your course or import the resources into another course. The hand-coded links get broken.

Case in point this sentence should contain a link to the Text Filters forum.
