Moodle community sites

Hello!
I'm working on a paper reguarding Moodle platform and I haven't found any documentation on Moodle architecture or any diagrams (UML diagrams or any) that can explain how its modules work separately and how they communicate with each other. I would really appreciate if you have any knowledge of these and direct me to them. Thank you very much!
