I am trying to figure out how to create a new module in which I can record student attendance. Not sure what it should include (i.e. late, absence, excused....). Has there been any talk on adding this to moodle or as an option?

I am currently in process of working on this. I'm not sure if my approach will work for everyone though, as it ties in with an external database. I'll post an update in this thread when I have something working.
