I have attempted to install Moodle in Fedora Core 5 with not much luck.
Many hours later I find I am at a loss to know which way to turn.
I initially used the article "45 minutes to a moodle server" which did not work and was stripped out.
I then used the install from the command line Yum Install Moodle. Seemed to install lots but once again little documentation and conflicting information caused problems.
I have now fallen back to the Redhat Linux Installation document available from moodle......I'm not heartened by the words when referring to these instructions " I see no reason why they should instructions should not work for later versions, but ......".
So if YOU DO KNOW what needs to be done after using "Yum Install Moodle"
method of installation OR you have used the article mentioned above and can tell me the definitive approach I would like to hear from you.
A prize awaits any one of you who will communicate with me to the extent that I have a working version of moodle on my Fedora Core 5 box.
