Problems inserting a resource link to a file

I am attempting to add a resource link to word documents, and PDF documents within my newly installed moodle site. I'm running moodle 1.8.4+.

I can upload, rename, and delete files, however when I try to add a resource, I get an http 404 file not found error in my web browser.

Does anyone have a suggestion? I'm hanging in the wind here.

Still having problems liking resource files. I can upload the file, choose the file, but when I try to view the file through moodle, I get a 404 page not found. Word Documents, PDF files, spreadsheets. . .it does not matter what kind of file.

I'm running Windows 2003, IIS 6, PHP 5.2.0, MySQL.

I tried to access the site using firefox and I'm getting the error, "no input file specified."

Moodle web directory is in c:\inetpub\wwwroot

Moodledata directory is on E:\Moodledata, same physical server.

Suggestions, comments, questions, solutions? Anyone?

Hi, and thanks for the link. It did the trick for me too, but not fully mixed I have links to html files that themselves point to style sheets. The pages are displayed unstyled. The strange thing is that we have another Moodle installation here where things work perfectly. Any ideas what could be the cause of this?
