Where the changes made to take the calendar on main page in 1.4 development version?

In  Moodle 1.4 development version I found the calendar on Main Page but before that it was not in Main Page so where (in which files) and whatever changes are made to make it available on Main Page. Your response is appriciated.

The changes are in index.php. Get a copy of the latest 1.4 dev and a comparison will be easy.

Thanks Jon, for your response.I found the change in code in index.php  in 14 development version.
