I have in some text these tags : <!--[if !supportLists]--> <!--[endif]--> which comes from Word I suppose. But when I click on the button clean word HTML code, I have no effect.
These tags appears when seing in IE (even if it's comment tag) but not in mozilla.
Do you know these things ?
What can I do ?
The word clean function is not perfect yet. We'll have to fix it a little more.
Could tell what version of Word you are using?

That's word 2000
But the question is also why IE shows html comment tags ? <!-- -->
Not a question, a mystery...
I have made an other try : That is all <!--[if !anything]--> tags
where anything would be : supportFootnotes, supportEmptyParas, supportLists and surely other things.
Is it possible to add a filter to delete all HTML comments ?

I'm experiencing this problem as well (only visible with IE). What was the resolution if any?
Wow, 6 years later and this is still occurring? (Moodle 1.9.8, found it today...)
