Hi,
I'm new with Moodle but nonetheless have begun to create many courses. I've had 2 teachers (one from UK and the other from India) ask if they could teach from my Moodle site; which is great news!
I have 3 questions:
- How do I teach them how to create and build their own classrooms? I downloaded the Moodle Features Demo, but is there a beginner-teacher course already prepared someplace?
- How do I pay them? Right now, my unfinished courses will be set up to use the paypal button. I'm hoping (though I haven't tested it yet) that once a student clicks on the paypal icon to pay for the course, that a confirmation email will be sent to him/her with the enrollment key for that course. The money of course, goes to my website business account. I suppose I need to come up with a 30% commission policy that explains all teachers make 70% profit less paypal transaction fees. The only way I can figure to pay them individually is to send their paypal email accounts this money by the 5th of each month say. Does anyone have a better insight or handle on this to instruct me correctly as to how payment to teachers are done? It's easy to pay myself for my own class. But, I must make a small profit for allowing other teachers to use my web space. Is this how it's done?
- Since these teachers are not from the USA, should I request they have USA paypal accounts?
How does anyone else do this? Thanks. Ms. Letha - Rye, Co
