Hi Moodlers,

This might sound like a very silly question-I would like to know why I am unable to see the usual red colour for an incorrect answer-I am able to see the colour green for a correct answer and yellow colour for a partially correct answer.Pls let me know as to where I need to check the same. Thanks.

Hi Madhu,
This problem is probably dependent on the visual theme you are using. Which theme are you using? a standard one? a customized one? Which moodle version are you using?
Joseph
PS.- There are no "silly" questions.

Hi Joseph,

Thanks for your quick response. I am using a customised theme based on Cornflower theme.

1- Have you tried with another theme (standard, formal white, etc.)?
2- Can you post a screen shot showing exactly the problem.

Thanks Mathuri for posting those screen shots.
We are slowly getting there. So your problem is the display of the Quiz Results view to Teacher. When I create a quiz (in Moodle 1.8.3) with a series of MCQ questions, I get the following .grading .correctness .classes colors, using the standard theme:
correctness correct: green
correctness partiallycorrect: yellow
correctness incorrect: nothing (default white background)
If you want the correctness incorrect class to be displayed as background red, for example, then in file theme/standard/styles_color.css you must replace:
.que .incorrect {
}
with
.que .incorrect {
#background-color:red; /* or any other color of your choice */
}
See attached screenshot.
If what you want is something else, please explain clearly what you want exactly, in which part of Moodle (preview? report? etc.)

Great example guys,

I was going to open a new topic talking about something similar to this.

Can we change the Correct or Incorrect msg for an animated .gif or an image?  Or change it to a different message from the one we are receiving now.  For example, instead of saying Correct, to display "Good Work" with a different font, maybe bold and bigger, or an image...  Same for incorrect.

Please HELP!
