I'm new in moodle and now trying to customize a new layout for my moodle site. I saw the Clouds theme and like it very much. I have some questions about the blocks.
1. How to customize the login block on the top? is it in head.html in the currently-using theme folder?
I tried to remove the line <div class="headermenu"><?php echo $menu ?></div> in the head.html, but resulted in nothing left. How can I keep the login info, but remove the language bar?
2. How to create and insert customized blocks onto the front page(like the highlighted area in the attached image)?
Can you help me and give me some ideas?
