How to evaluate NWiki?

How to evaluate NWiki?

I currently support MediaWiki at our college, and we are thinking of piloting Moodle as a CMS.
But, we don't have Moodle installed yet. I'd like to compare MediaWiki to Nwiki. Any "Sandboxes"?

Hi Frank,

you can try NWiki here. This sandbox is using an stable version of our wiki for Moodle1.8.

Hi Jordi, is there a "wikitalk" help file with the available NWiki syntax somewhere? Sorry, can't find it.

We need to sort a litle all the nwiki documentation. I hope to have time for it this month.
Cheers

Thanks for the prompt reply. Looks pretty much like the Wikipedia/MediaWiki syntax. That's good, IMHO. Less to learn, and a move towards some sort of standardization.

While wikitalk initially seems less than intuitive to "newbies" it's a lot easier than html, and my hope is that as students use more and more wikis, they will already know how to "write" them when they get to a new one.

I hesitate to say it, but NWiki looks close to a MediaWiki in Moodle.
Is this accidental or on purpose?
Not a criticism by any way...but desirable.
