Restoring backups to different Moodle Installations

Hi,

I need to know if you can restore backups you have made in a completely different Moodle setup to another moodle site.

Basically I want to be able to use a course on my Moodle server on my friend's moodle server.

Is it possible without causing conflicts?

Yes. You can restore moodle backups to any moodle server. approve

I develop content on an installation of moodle running on a laptop, backup what I have created and then upload and install on a machine hosted at an ISP, all through a browser interface.
