I needed some help to create a assignment where only one student can submit. I think this can not be implemented, but even then put the question.
There is a possibility to do this? Any idea?

create a special role for that one student? use role override for that particular assignment to disable other students from submitting

No create a new role, but for this assignment, give the permission guest for the student that no have permission to submit a assignment. For the oders students, continualy with role student.
But this is no enough, cause is necessery define that students no appear in the grades. So, to soulve this problem, in option grades, in "exceptions notes", in this assignment, i remove the students that no have permission to submit the assignment, ie, create a exception for this assignment.
