Moodle as a general CMS

Hi

I am in the process of specifying a new site for a client and and aware of Moodle as one of many cms open source systems available.

Can/should Moodle be used a cms system for a general site - such as Furniture manufacturer - or would I really be better at looking at solutions such Drupal, Joomla etc because of their more commercial orientation?

Thanks for any help out there

I think you're confusing Moodle CMS (Course Management System) with Joomla, Drupal, etc (Content Management System). Moodle would be a great option if you wanted to provide courses (or sections) where users would collaborate in a teacher/student environment), but I doubt you're looking for this.
