Copying resources from a course to another using the import tool

I need to create a course based in another course. It is simple to me. I just create the course, and then import data from another course clicking in "Import". I choose what I want to import and that's it.
The thing is that I got this error:

Name: backup-en_5-20071211-1511.zip
  • Creating temporary structures
  • Deleting old data
  • Creating XML file
    • Writing header
    • Writing general info
    • Writing course data
      • Course info
      • Metacourse
      • Blocks
      • Sections
    • Writing users info. . .
    • Writing scales info
    • Writing groups info
    • Writing events info
    • Writing gradebook info
    • Writing modules info
      • Assignments
  • Copying user files
  • Copying course files
  • Zipping backup
  • Copying zip file
An error occurred while copying the zip file to the course directory

The backup did not complete successfully

It seems that I have problems with the file. It is not a matter of size since I ticked only a simple resource.

The data folders are configured to be write enable by the browser. So it does not seem also a write privilege problem either...

Can anyone give me a hand on this? What do you think could be the problem?

backing up a course

I also tried do do a simple backup of a course and I get the same error: "An error occurred while copying the zip file to the course directory"

I searched for a while for a similar post but all I get as an answer isn't a issue for me (folder privileges, size bigger than 2M or 4M depending on the file size permission - for me 4M) .

I really need to put things going, can anyone give me a help?

Thank you, Mariana
