Hot pot offline and online?

Hi there,

Does anyone know if it is possible to create a hot potatoes quiz, pop it onto a CD-ROM, capture user data (from the CD version) and then load this (user data) back into Moodle into a SCORMed Hot potato version of the same quiz?

Thanks

Sue

It's surely possible to create hotpot quizzes for offline use (e.g. for disctribution on CD-ROM), but I can see no way to capture user data from the CD version.

Here's a thread about an exciting project to create an offline Moodle client.

Also, Google is working on an offline browsing system called Google Gears

Neither system is ready yet, but they both seem to offer the potential for having the results of HotPot quizzes done offline to be recorded in a Moodle site.
