Icons instead of words?

Icons instead of words?

Just an idea...

Wouldn't it look nice if icons were used instead of words at the bottom of the calendar? The "Global" icon could be the current 'favicon' for the site (inside the current theme), while the others would be standardised.

The addition of the standard 'help' icon not only would inform people of how the icons work, but tell them other things which might not be so obvious such as what happens when you click on the month name, etc.

Have you added a moodle bug on this yet?
I love the idea and would happily vote for the bug.

Hmm, I guess that would be the way to go. I didn't think of that because this isn't a 'bug' but I think the 'bug' function is slightly mislabelled since it can, indeed, be used for suggestions such of this. Will do!

The bug reporter has a "feature request" selection in the severity popup.

Think of it in terms of something that is "bugging" you.  smile

Bugtracker becomes WishWell

by Ger Tielemans -

A Bug is something negativ, even when you say "something is bugging me."
As we all know, the first bug was a fly that disturbed the electrical circuits of one of the old computers. So change the name in something positiv: Wish Foutain? Moodle Wish Well?

Even a bug, delivered at that place would become something positiv:

I Wish Martin solves my bug #5397
