Playing around with 1.9 beta 2 - I imported a course from a backup and the categories set in the 1.8 course did not get imported.
Is this normal? do the categories get imported if we do an upgrade?

I have also had this issue, and for large courses it is a bit alkward.
Does the same happen if you upgrade a site from 1.8 to 1.9, or is it only when you import a 1.8 course into 1.9.
