As Martin announced recently, Moodle has been selected as one of only ten open source projects to take part in Google's new Highly Open Participation contest, designed to encourage pre-University students to get involved with open source projects.

Moodle's list of tasks has proved very popular with students, and a great many have been claimed in just a few days. We now need to review each task entry, giving suggestions for improvement where necessary, and determine when the task has been completed successfully.

Help from Moodle community members in reviewing task entries would be greatly appreciated.

You can help by replying to forum posts, particularly in this forum and in the Student projects forum.

You can also help by adding comments to individual tasks - see http://code.google.com/p/google-highly-open-participation-moodle/issues/list for the full list. To do so, you need a gmail account. If you would like email notification of any change to a particular task, simply star it.

Note that each task must be completed within 5 days.

A big THANK YOU in advance for any help you are able to offer in reviewing Google HOP task entries. smile
