Hi there.
The current standard wiki and nwiki versions handle pretty well the concurrence issues. You can't edit a page that other student is editing. BUT. If a user edits a page, saves the changes, and then another user changes the pages... if the firts user goes to the toilet and presses reload when he/she comes back.. then the second edition is lost. Is still in the history but no more in the current page.
We need to think about how to deal with this ... I've got some ideas but there are more serious issues to fix before. So warn your students about the reload button!!!
