With SlashArguements set to: file.php?file=/pic.jpg get the following results when clicking "Direct Link to file": (my data is stored in "moodledata" which I don't see in the link below)
I can get the file to show with the following link: http://www.kvento.net/moodle/moodledata/1/001f.jpeg
Here's the link Moodle creates
ÿØÿà and many more characters.
I had my ISP try the fix suggested in another post about PATH_INFO, here's the answer
|can display the actual jpeg, using a direct path.|
However, the php scripts rely on PATH_INFO and PATH_TRANSLATED for their data.
If you implement the microsoft technote above I'm sure the problem will be fixed.

I did what you suggested and it immediately broke the site and the link so I changed it back to False. When I did what you suggested and set it to True, I will get an error saying invalid path specified on all the links for kvento.net.
If I use the other setting in SlashArguements I get "no input file specified"
It appears the paths to the files are not being passed to the program. Is this a bug in 1.3? Is there a workaround (can I add the "moodledata" directory to the script that creates the path)? I would give up on this but I have one student who needs to make up a class this summer. Any help would be most appreciated. I am running on a Windows 2003 Server.
Note: none of my configuration settings were changed (and images did work with 1.21), however the site did recently move to a new server. Here's my datadir path: $CFG->dataroot = 'C:\hosting\webhost4life\member\kvento\moodle\moodledata';
This is the correct path could it be the script that displays the graphics is not prepending the dataroot?
