New UWA-Widgets Block

This new little block allows to embed UWA-Widgets into a Moodleblock.

The configurationform for the courseadmin is created on the fly and it should work for all UWA compliant widgets.

If you would like to discuss about it, feel free to do so in this thread.

Thank you all and happy moodling....

I downloaded this and added it to my blocks directory. I then went to "notifications" and received the famous blank screen. I am running 1.8.2 any ideas?

What version of PHP do you use? This Block needs PHP5 (I have added it to the description now).

Could you describe me what you mean by "notifications"? My Moodle is german most of the time...

Did you open /admin/admin.php? Is the block visible in the administration section?

That explains it. I'm not running PHP5. "Notifications," leads the link to get to admin.

Hello Michael,
I dwonloaded this, installed it. When I go to view the configuration, I get an blank page except for a title signalling I have reached the UWA configuration page. I even moved the files to the lang and lib folders.

I am running Moodle 1.8.3+ and have PHP5.2.0

Any suggestions???

Thanks,
Chris

I found the error to my question above...
Config_instance.html

Line 32: <?
Added: <?php

Now works.

This is a great little block!

Is there anyway to place blocks in the main content area or only on the sides?

Thanks,
Chris

Ah wonderful, thnx. I will correct it and release a new version.

There is a patch MDL-6748 for playing blocks in the center area. But I am not sure if it will be included...

This block should now be Moodle 1.9 compatible but still needs PHP 5. I would be glad if you could send me any problems you have.
