Login to Moodle.org with the following permissions:
User name: teacher
Password: teacher
Once logged in, go to "Teacher's playground test" course, linked from the front page. You will have full editing permissions and can then make your own determination as to how difficult or easy it is to add resources and activities to Moodle. Another new playground site where you can explore admin access is located at http://demo.moodle.com/
