Taking content to new courses

How might one go about taking objects from one course and placing them into another course.  I use Moodle to supplement FTF teaching, and would like to start planning for next term.  How do I take resources/quizzes/assignments/etc... into the new course?  Thanks in advance

Create a backup of this term's course and then restore it into the new course. Ray wrote more detailed instructions here.
