I've just realized that there is a topic dealing with the same issue (thus, my post wasn't so stupid ). this is the link http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=8281.
btw, i'd like to leave here my post unmodified, since my interpretation of the problem is a little bit different.
I'm new about moodle so sorry if my questions may be 'stupid'.
I'd like to know if there is a kind of 'student progression' in a course, in the sense that when a student logs-in he can view what are the terminated activities so that he knows what is the next activity to perform.
I didn't find this functionality. I guess that moodle does not have the concept of sequence of lessons, but this may really help. If so, it could be interesting to have a kind of "Sequential" course format that guides the student through the entire course path.
Moreover, is there a way for a teacher to look at a global view of the students' grades and progressions (if it exists) for all his students (i.e. the students of his courses)? this can help him in finding the most low/high grades and focus on them first. This is very useful when a teacher takes care of several hundreds students.
thank you very much.
