Some users are getting the error message

"Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (Talk in a chat)"

when trying to enter a chat room setup by one of our lecturers.

Has anyone had this problem? Any idea's how to sort it?

We're getting the same, although weirdly enough, not with all students. We're running 1.8.2.
