Hi all,

We've had moodle for about 4 months now and are slowing starting to show the staff at our school how to use it. But we seam to have incountered a strange bug?

Say i upload a file to moodle, called Fileone.doc. then i click to open the file throught my course. this works fine and the file will open correctly, however if within that file (Fileone.doc) there is a hyperlink to Filetwo.doc which is stored on a network shared area. (eg, K:/history/Filetwo.doc) this link will have been changed to //<moodleIP>/file.php/<number>/Filetwo.doc.

Which once clicked moodle takes you straight to the logon page.

Any Ideas?!

i have resoloved this issue, turns out Office 2007 was to blame.
when creating a hyperlink staff would simply add the file they wanted from where-ever, but clever office insisted the hyperlink should be "./document.doc"
not "servershare/folder/folder/document.doc" which ment where ever the file would download from, it would then look in its parent directory for the hyperlinked file. which after it was downloaded from moodle, would be a TEMP file.
